🏔️ Gangtok – Lachung – Pelling – Darjeeling (7 Nights / 8 Days)


Day 1: Arrival – NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport to Gangtok (125 km | ~4 hrs)

Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport (IXB), meet our representative and proceed to Gangtok. Check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast, take a half-day excursion to the serene Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) – considered sacred by locals. Continue to visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, located 12 km further. Return to Gangtok by afternoon.
(Optional: Nathula Pass – Subject to permit and availability.)

Day 3: Gangtok to Lachung (117 km | ~6 hrs)

Post breakfast, drive to Lachung (8,610 ft). En route, visit scenic spots like Singhik Viewpoint, Seven Sisters Waterfalls, and Naga Waterfalls.

Day 4: Yumthang Valley Excursion – Return to Gangtok

Early morning excursion to the stunning Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft), famously known as the Valley of Flowers. On the way back, visit Sulphur Hot Springs. After lunch at the resort, drive back to Gangtok.
(Optional: Zero Point – depending on road and weather conditions.)

Day 5: Gangtok to Pelling via Char Dham (132 km | ~5 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Pelling (6,800 ft). En route, visit Char Dham – a new and significant pilgrimage site in Sikkim. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival.

Day 6: Pelling Sightseeing – Transfer to Darjeeling (120 km | ~4 hrs)

After breakfast, explore Pelling’s major attractions including Rimbi Falls, Rimbi Rock Garden, Khangchendzonga Falls, and the sacred Khecheopalri (Wish) Lake. Later, drive to Darjeeling (7,100 ft).

Day 7: Darjeeling Local Tour

Start early (4:00 am) to visit Tiger Hill for a stunning sunrise view over Mt. Khangchendzonga. On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, proceed for a half-day city tour covering:

  • Himalayan Mountaineering Institute

  • Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (closed Thursdays)

  • Tenzing Rock

  • Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed Sundays)

  • Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda

  • Tea Garden (outer view)

  • Ropeway (Tickets at own cost)

Evening free for shopping.
Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 8: Departure – Darjeeling to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport (90 km | ~3 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and transfer to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.
