Situated in the Garhwal Himalayas, the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and attracts thousands of pilgrims annually. Due to its high-altitude location, the journey to Kedarnath is both spiritually and physically enriching.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Haridwar – Guptkashi/Phata/Sonprayag (204 km / 7 hrs approx)

  • Drive via Rudraprayag along the Mandakini River.

  • Visit the revered Dhari Devi Temple enroute.

  • Enjoy scenic photography halts.

  • Check-in and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Guptkashi – Gaurikund – Kedarnath

  • Transfer to Sitapur/Gaurikund.

  • Begin the 16 km trek to Kedarnath.

  • Optional helicopter/pony/doli services available.

  • Evening Darshan at Shri Kedarnath Temple.

  • Overnight stay in basic accommodation at Kedarnath.

Day 3: Kedarnath – Gaurikund – Guptkashi/Phata/Sonprayag

  • Trek back to Gaurikund and transfer to hotel.

  • Check-in and overnight stay at Guptkashi or nearby.

Day 4: Guptkashi – Haridwar (204 km / 7 hrs approx)

  • Post breakfast, return journey to Haridwar.

  • Scenic stops and leisure time.

  • Overnight stay at Haridwar (if required/add-on).

  • Helicopter/Pony/Doli (Kedarnath Helicopter approx. ₹6,500–₹8,500/person)

  • Personal expenses, medical insurance, and travel insurance

  • Entry fees, tips, mineral water, and items of personal nature

  • Any extra sightseeing or change in itinerary

  • Any costs arising from unforeseen events (weather, landslides, etc.)

  • Trekking shoes, raincoat, torch, and trekking stick

  • Water bottle, sunscreen, moisturizer, lip balm

  • 50% advance at time of booking

  • Remaining 50% due 48 hours before travel

  • AC will not operate in hill areas beyond Rishikesh

  • Room service, heaters, and WiFi (if available) may be chargeable

  • Accommodation at Kedarnath is basic due to altitude constraints

  • All guests must carry valid photo IDs; foreign nationals require passport + visa
