🗓️ Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati → Transfer to Kaziranga (4–5 hrs)
Pickup from Guwahati Airport. Drive to Kaziranga. Evening at leisure in a wildlife resort.

Day 2: Kaziranga Safari → Shillong (6 hrs)
Early morning jeep safari in Kaziranga. Spot rhinos, elephants, and possibly tigers. Post breakfast, drive to Shillong. Visit Umiam Lake en route.

Day 3: Shillong Local Sightseeing
Explore Elephant Falls, Laitlum Canyon, Ward’s Lake, and Police Bazaar. Optional café crawl in the evening.

Day 4: Shillong → Cherrapunji (2 hrs)
Drive to Cherrapunji, known for the wettest place on Earth tag. Visit Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave, and Eco Park. Overnight in a scenic cliffside resort.

Day 5: Living Root Bridge Trek
Early morning trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge in Nongriat (optional but iconic!). A rewarding but demanding day.

Day 6: Cherrapunji → Mawlynnong → Dawki → Shillong
Visit Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia. Then head to Dawki for a surreal boat ride on Umngot River (clear as glass!). Return to Shillong.

Day 7: Shillong → Guwahati (3–4 hrs)
Drive back to Guwahati. En route visit Kamakhya Temple or take a Brahmaputra sunset cruise (optional). Last night shopping or chill evening at a local spot.

Day 8: Departure from Guwahati
Trip ends. Airport drop with misty memories and lush green hearts.
